In the 2 1/2 years I have blogged the Gossip of JTV — I have sadly blogged about the passing of two broadcasters. I did not think I would have to do that again or for a very long time — if ever. Word came over the weekend that another JTVer had perished. I didn’t know him that well but I knew his fiancee and this is the reason I have chosen to mention this today on the blog. I have enjoyed watching their relationship develop on and off JTV and I was so shocked and incredibly sadden after hearing the news of his death. As a side note –the purpose of this post isn’t to point out how great the community is on JTV — but it is great — no other live video site comes together in times like this –the casters/chatters even the trolls. If you have experienced loss of a loved one — as I am sure we can all identify with — take a moment and offer a kind word to DesignerGirl on the passing of her fiance Todd.

My friend had been telling me about this channel for a few weeks now. I didn’t understand the draw — but I do now. I have enjoyed a few afternoons in the chat and it is a pretty interesting channel. Watching Anthony is more like watching an actual TV show. It is a love story, a mystery, a drama and a comedy all rolled into one. Anthony the store “owner” is quick witted and very handy with computers. He stands at the counter and works on fixing computers as he chats with neighborhood regulars, talks on the phone, with customers and talks to his chatroom. Almost as fun as his live broadcasts –the off air videos are great fun to watch. The cherry on top is the funny banter in the chatroom — with no rules basically — great stuff! Stop by sometime and you will quickly become a fan too.

Along with a zillion other people — I have been watching Mishka the cat on Jamie’s channel prepare to have her litter. I am so excited about this — and I check in on the channel several times a day. What I enjoy most — other then chatting with the other people who stop by — is that I really enjoy listening to Jamie and occasionally her Dad take care of the cat. Their calming voice and caring words are so uplifting to the kitty and anyone who happens to hear it.
I don’t understand though why this broadcaster isn’t a producer and why this isn’t on the front page of JTV. Maybe it could replace the featured bird feeder that is not seen for roughly 12 hours a day because they don’t have a night vision cam (it is pitch black during the evening hours). Makes no sense.
Oh, what a wonderful experience this will be. My son and I hopefully can watch this miracle together. The first male kitty will be named after JTV staff member Evan so far no other kittens have been named. Stop in and give Jamie your name suggestions.

This is too funny. As I was looking thru the animal category this morning I noticed a squirrel in the bird feeder of this channel. This bird feeder is located on Old Hickory Lake in Tennessee. My neighbor keeps a bird feeder on his property and he works daily to prevent squirrels from eating all of the seeds he puts out for the birds only. Seeing this squirrel immediately got my attention. LOL It was cute to see him as content as could be chomping on the seeds until a bird stopped by to take command of the feeder again. Stop by this channel and see the wonderful video clips on hand.
A few people had noticed that JTV had chosen to feature this channel on the main page of Justin.tv last NIGHT. Keyword here — NIGHT — lol and there is no light on the birdfeeder. So folks coming to JTV for the first time saw a nice black screen featured on the main page. Hopefully they didn’t think that JTV was for the birds and will be back visit again when a different channel is featured that is more appropriate.

The Olympics are coming up and I cannot wait. I found this cool channel to get me in the mood. Laugh if you must but this is a great channel to watch while on the treadmill. It has been working for me as I am snowed in and unable to run outside. LOL Mont-Tremblant Resort is located in the Laurentian mountains of Quebec, Canada. They broadcast from 6am – 6pm EST.
